COLUMBUS, OH – Rob Portman’s U.S. Senate campaign today announces its Veterans for Portman Steering Committee, led by Colonel (retired) Thomas Moe, who is the campaign statewide Veterans Chairman.
“On this upcoming Memorial Day, we should all take time to remember the sacrifices made by so many in defense of our freedoms and liberty,” Portman said. “Our veterans, as well as those currently in uniform, also deserve our utmost gratitude for their selfless service to protect our nation both at home and abroad. I am honored that Col. Moe will serve as chairman for our Veterans for Portman Steering Committee.”
In the Wall Street Journal Dan Danner, president and CEO of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), explains why his organization supports the constitutional challenge to the health-insurance mandate.
